ANDOVER New Street claimed their second away win of the season at Christchurch on Tuesday evening and now occupy 10th place in the Premier Division table, albeit having played more games than some.

Malachi Dotse had joined Ross Cook on the injured list, so Josh Moore led the attack while Shane Lock returned in the midfield.

A dramatic opening 60 seconds saw the home side make ground down the right, and the cross was met at the far post with the ball being cleared off the line and away to safety.

At the other end, a long throw was punched away by home keeper Callum White who then had to quickly leave his area to halt Moore.

Street's pressure told after 15 minutes when a Davis cross from the left was met by Liam Hibberd at the far post. His powerful header was handled on the line and Shane Lock converted the resultant penalty.

Shaun Dallimore nearly caught White off his line with a long free kick before the keeper was at fault as New Street doubled their advantage.

He waited for a back pass to reach him and Brad Waters was quickly in to turn the ball into the unguarded net.

Christchurch were quicker out of the blocks on the restart before Street regained the initiative.

A Lock free kick, after Moore was fouled, grazed the outside of the post before Street added goal number three as the half reached the midway point.

A Waters run was halted illegally inside the area and Lock again converted the spot kick.

Both sides began to introduce further substitutes and some of the fluency went out of the game with Ben Rodwell making probably his first real save of the evening, claiming a cross in a crowded area.

The speedy Williams carried the ball from his left back position to deliver a cross from the right hand corner flag and the game rather petered out with the visitors worthy winners on the night.
