ANDOVER Town eased into the next round of the FA Cup with a 5-2 victory over Royal Wootton Bassett on Saturday.
The Portway side took the lead midway through the first half when Danny Urry chipped through youngster Adam Grange, who calmly slotted past the goalkeeper to open the scoring.
10 minutes later Craig Blakeman and Craig Stanley scored two quickfire goals to give Andover a 3-0 lead at half time.
Town extended their lead again after the break when Chris Onoufriou netted from the penalty spot after Grange had been fouled in the box.
The Hellenic Premier League visitors hit back on the hour mark when Aliowie Diouf scored from close range.
The forward was gifted a second ten minutes from time as Bassett reduced the deficit to two goals.
However Liam Gilbert's penalty on 85 minutes ended all hopes of a comeback as Town ran-out comfortable 5-2 winners.
Andover will face a trip to Surrey based side Spelthrone Sports in the FA Cup preliminary round later this month.
