ANDOVER'S boxers go head to head against the rest of England tomorrow at the Titles and Tribulations event at the Winton Academy.

The amazing sell-out night will be topped by two title fights.

Local boy Jamie Smith is fighting Portsmouth’s Robbie Clay for the English welterweight title and fellow local boy Rob Moore challenges for the SW light heavyweight title in what are two great matches.

Also fighting for Andover against boxers from all over the UK are Ryan Lake, having his third bout at cruiser weight, and Chris Taylor and Dave Lee are making their middleweight debuts.

Jack Barrett has his first bout at light middleweight with lightweights Chris Dewell and Alex Jenvey both in action for the second time.

Chad Paxton makes his debut at cruiserweight and Daniel Thorpe is in action at light heavyweight for the second time.

Ryan Lake is looking to secure a good win after two fights that saw him miss out on victories he truly deserved.

The event, which is supporting the Royal British Legion poppy appeal, is almost sold out and tickets are £25.

White Collar Boxing Club spokesman Ryan Rawlinson says: “All the fighters have trained unbelievably hard for the chance to fight in their home town to a sell-out local crowd.”
