SWIG Finance is welcoming Amanda Sheppard, a banking veteran of 23 years, to its business lending team.

Amanda, based in Andover, will assist customers in Wiltshire, Dorset, and Hampshire. Her extensive financial services background includes a role as associate relationship manager at Lloyds Bank, where she provided global financial solutions to mid-corporate trading businesses.

Additionally, she has considerable experience serving SMEs in industries like retail, leisure, agriculture, and commercial sectors across the south and west.

Previously a charity champion for Lloyds Bank, Amanda raised £150,000 for charity over 10 years. Notably, a sponsored parachute jump on her 40th birthday collected £3,000 for The Enham Trust.

Amanda said: “Supporting local communities is important to me, and so it’s great to be part of an organisation that puts helping local communities to grow and prosper at the forefront of what they do. I’m looking forward to sharing my experience with the wider business community and helping the businesses in my area to flourish."

Senior business manager, Nicola Parker, said: “Having Amanda onboard will help to provide a much-needed presence in the east of our region. We are impressed not only with Amanda’s skillset and background, but also her enthusiasm for supporting small businesses in the south and west to grow”.
