A DRUG driver from Andover has been banned from getting behind the wheel for more than a year.
On Tuesday, October 3 last year Paul Grainger, of King George Road, drove a vehicle on Charlton Road in Andover with 296 micrograms per litre of blood of Amphetamine - the legal limit is is 250.
On the same date, the 57-year-old also had 3.0 micrograms per litre of blood of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol when the legal limit is 2.

During a hearing held at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, April 9, Grainger pleaded guilty to the offences.
Magistrates disqualified him from driving for 20 months and ordered 80 hours of unpaid work to be completed within 12 months.
Court costs of £85 and a surcharge fee of £114 must also be paid.
