A MAN from Andover has been fined after being caught with two jars and a joint of cannabis.

On Wednesday, June 7 last year, Paul Lawther, of Juniper Close, had in his possession two jars, a small tub and a joint all containing cannabis a controlled drug of Class B.

During a hearing held at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, April 9, the 43-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.

Magistrates ordered the drugs to be destroyed and fined Lawther £180.

Court courts of £85 and a surcharge fee of £70 must also be paid.
