AN ANDOVER man who failed to give police information of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence has been fined £1,000.
Mark Richardson, of Rack Close, did not provide information relating to the identification of the driver of a Ford who was alleged to have committed an offence.
A notice of intended prosecution was sent to Richardson on September 3, 2021, and reminder letter was sent on October 4, 2021, but ‘no acceptable response’ was received.

The 37-year-old denied the offence on May 15, last year, but during a trial at Aldershot Magistrates’ Court on April 3, this year, he was found guilty.
Along with the £1,000 fine, Richardson was ordered to pay a £100 victim surcharge and £100 court costs. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
He was found not guilty of a further offence of speeding on the M27.
