ANDOVER will play host to Edinburgh Fringe festival acts as they get ready for the popular comedy event.
For the first time in its history, The Lights will be holding a week of stand-up comedy, showcasing some of this year’s Edinburgh Fringe festival acts that will be performing in at the comedy arts festival this August.
Before The Fringe Fest, the first comedy festival to be held in Andover, is being held from Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 12.

With 10 comedians across five nights, The Lights will host names including Glenn Moore, Chloe Petts, Sara Barron, Josh Weller, Bella Hull and more.
With four of the five nights already confirmed, it’s going to be an eventful week in the venue's arena.
The Before The Fringe Fest is an opportunity to see some comedians who have already shone on television, with Chloe Petts, Sara Barron and Glenn Moore appearing on various shows such as Live at the Apollo, House of Games, and Mock The Week.

Over the years The Lights has played host to numerous comedy clubs, as well as tour shows from Terry Alderton, Jessica Fostekew and Carl Hutchinson in recent times.
With a plethora of comedy coming up in 2024, including Miles Jupp, Omid Djalili, Ria Lina, Nick Helm, and Richard Herring, to name but a few, the venue has had a huge number of big names through the door since 2006.
