A BAND from Test Valley has thanked the community after supporting its Christmas events throughout December.

Test Valley Brass Band is one of the bands in the Test Valley Brass group, and throughout December played at a variety of venues across the borough to raise funds for the band.

The band played at a variety of venues including in Charlton, Stockbridge, Alresford, Upper Clatford, the Hawk Conservancy, Whitchurch and in Andover itself.

Despite the events not specifically being for fundraising, the street performances and collections were able to raise a total of £689.05, which will be used to keep the band going and supporting its groups through 2024.
