A man has been arrested in connection with a suspected Class A drugs supply offence in Andover.
Officers from Andover’s District Policing Team stopped a driver in Humberstone Road at around 2.30pm on Monday, December 18 and seized bags of suspected cocaine, as well as around £1,000 in cash.
A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.
He has been released on police bail while police carry out further enquiries.

A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: “Tackling drug-related harm is a priority for us in Andover.
“The trade in Class A drugs such as cocaine is often associated with violence and intimidation, and also presents substantial dangers to users.
“Even if you are on the periphery of this trade, please be aware that any criminal conviction may impact your job, home, future career and even your ability to travel abroad.
“We encourage anyone with information about drugs supply where they live to report this to the police.
“Any information, no matter how small it may seem, helps develop the wider intelligence picture, which in turn enables us to proactively disrupt those involved in drugs supply.”
