MAGISTRATES have disqualified an Andover man after he was caught drink driving in the town.
Lee Anton, of Launcelot Close, was stopped driving in King Arthurs Way with 75 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – the legal limit is 35. The offence took place on Saturday, September 23.
During a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, October 19, the 36-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.
Anton was banned from driving for 18 months and fined £300. He must also pay a £120 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
