POLICE have undertaken an operation to disrupt anti-social motorcycle use in the area around the A303 in Andover.

The issue has been reported by landowners in the area, with their livelihoods being impacted “by the damage these motorcycles are causing”, police have said.

On Saturday, October 7, officers from several branches of Hampshire Constabulary carried out an operation to disrupt motorbike use.

A post on Test Valley Cops Facebook page said: “We have also had various noise complaints relating to their usage reported. Utilising different departments from HIOWC, including @HantsPolRoads @HantsPolRural and #DPTAndoverBTeam, we have been effective in preventing these motorcycles using the land today and providing exceptional local policing.”
