A THRILL-seeking 95-year-old veteran has completed his second skydive since turning 90.

Stanley Full, from Andover, took part in the charity skydive on Friday, September 8.

Stanley used the opportunity to raise money for two charities - Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) and The Royal Air Force Apprentices’ Association, The Old Haltonians.

Stanley, who is a Royal Air Force Veteran, said: "I was mainly worried about losing my teeth at 10,000 feet, but thankfully that didn't happen!

"I just want to say a massive thank you to all my friends, family and everyone who donated. People have been so generous and we've smashed our fundraising target, so thank you for all the contributions and support.

"Also a massive thanks to the people at the air ambulance for arranging the skydive. They're absolutely fantastic and hopefully, these funds will give them a little boost."

It is not the first time that Stanley has taken on a skydive, in September 2018 he jumped 12,000ft on his 90th birthday, raising almost £3,000 for the air ambulance.

As the plane door flung open on his first jump, Stanley previously said he felt “apprehensive but excited".

He added: "I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend everyone to try it. Just go for it. There is a great sense of satisfaction and achievement in being able to contribute to a good cause – especially when overcoming your fears again at 95-years-old.”

Director of income and engagement for HIOWAA, Keith Wilson, said: “We love stories like Stanley’s. His dedication and generosity are an inspiration to us all. We can’t thank him enough for helping to save lives in the region.”
