AN ANDOVER mum of three rubbed shoulders with the stars after she completed a 100km trek for breast cancer charity Coppafeel.

Chloe Cotton, who is also the founder of Trainmaster, completed the walk across Hadrian's Wall.

Chloe lost her grandmother and great-grandmother to breast cancer and had repeatedly applied to be part of the trek, before being chosen to be part of this year's 120-strong team.

After two days of gruelling trekking, Chloe was taken to hospital suffering from horrendous blisters on her feet with her small toe needing to be 'de-gloved', which could result in Chloe losing her nail.

Not to be defeated, Chloe, with the aid of painkillers and antibiotics, completed the final two days of trekking, walking the final 36km.

Chloe said: "The week was fantastic with me having met some truly inspirational men and women, the strength and determination of these people was fantastic to see. It was great to spend time hearing everyone's story whilst pushing ourselves out of our normal comfort zones."

Chloe's feet will take up to six months to recover from the walk but she completed the trek and raised over £3,300 for the charity, with the group collectively raising over £365,00.

CoppaFeel! is a breast cancer awareness charity, based in London. The charity focuses on promoting early detection of breast cancer, by encouraging women under 30 to regularly check their breasts.
