Pictures from the scene of a huge warehouse fire at an industrial estate in Andover show the utter devastation.

The fire started in The Dormy House, a furniture, wallpaper and textiles business, in Walworth Business Park, around 9am on March 13.

More than 100 firefighters from multiple crews rushed to the scene to battle the blaze, with some still on the scene on March 14, more than 24 hours later.

A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said the incident had 'scaled down' overnight, with only two crews remaining.

They added the fire had caused approximately 90 per cent damage to the main building and had even spread to the side of an adjacent property.

A firefighter on the scene said: "The fire has been put out and we're just dampening down the site now.

"We are leaving shortly, but we will be back later to inspect the situation. As it stands, the fire is out."

Nobody was reported to be hurt by the fire.

The Dormy House is a family-run business that started in 1981. The business has been contacted for comment.
