Police have launched an investigation after vandals caused £2,500 worth of damage to a children's playground in Andover.
The playground, based on Floral Way and is still under construction, had its fencing broken down between 4.30pm on Thursday 22 September, and 8am on Friday 23 September.
Initials and other offensive drawings were carved into the wet rubberised play surface.
Witnesses described those responsible as aged in their teens and wearing hooded tops.
