POLICE have named the Andover teenager who died during a collision with a motorhome while crossing the A303 on Friday.

Officers have confirmed that 18-year-old Harry Butler, of Walled Meadow, was pronounced dead at the scene after a collision with a Fiat motorhome on the westbound carriageway of the A303 at around 9pm.

A second pedestrian, a 23-year-old man from Liss, suffered serious injuries and remains in Southampton General Hospital, where his condition is described as stable but life-threatening.

The driver of the motorhome was uninjured.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, who are investigating the exact circumstances of this collision, are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.

They would also like to speak to anyone who saw either the white Fiat motorhome or the two men prior to the collision.
