AN ANDOVER man who caused damage to property belonging to the Redbridge pub and Hampshire Police must pay both compensation.

Rhys Ian James Gleed, of Beltex Walk, Andover, also assaulted a woman on October 28.

On the same day the 22-year-old damaged a glass belonging to the Redbridge and a glass pane belonging to the police.

He pleaded guilty to all three offences on November 12 and was told to carry out unpaid work for 50 hours in the next 12 months by magistrates.

Gleed must pay a total of £347 in victim surcharges, CPS costs, court charges and compensation.
