A BARTON Stacey man has been given a suspended prison sentence after admitting to grievous bodily harm during an incident in Andover.
Hayden Stephen Evans, of Bertune Close, Barton Stacey, was sentenced to eight months in prison, suspended for 18 months, when he appeared in Winchester Crown Court on Friday.
The 19-year-old admitted to inflicting grievous bodily harm on another man in Andover in August.
Evans was also ordered to pay £1,500 compensation, Crown Prosecution charges of £450, criminal courts charges of £180 and a victim surcharge of £100.
