AN OVERTURNED car has caused major tailbacks on the A303 this evening (Monday 5 October).
The incident took place around 6pm near the Longparish junction after a car overturned, hitting a traffic sign as it came to a stop.
One lane of the westbound dual carriageway was blocked off and tailbacks have been reported as far back as the junction with the A34 at Bullington Cross.
An eye witness told the Andover Advertiser that the incident "looked serious" and that an ambulance was on the scene.
It is not yet clear on the condition of those travelling in the vehicle.
