Police are appealing for information after a stabbing in Andover.
At some time between 12.15am and 12.35am during the early hours of Sunday, October 4 the 33-year-old victim was in Grace Square, Cricketers Way when he was stabbed in the back of his leg.
The victim was taken to hospital for stitches and is due to be released today (Monday, October 5).
Detective Constable Tracy West, said: “This appears to have been an isolated attack and not a random act, however the motive is unknown and it may be that the victim was not the intended target.
"Did you see what happened?
"Did you see the offender, who is described as black and about 6ft tall?
"I would urge anyone with information to come and speak to us in confidence.”
