A 90-YEAR-OLD motorist from Andover has been given points on his licence after admitting ploughing into another vehicle on the A303.
Stanley Alfred Brooker, of Kellys Walk, initially pleaded not guilty but later admitted to the offence of driving without due care and attention.
In January this year Brooker crashed his Ford KA into the rear of a vehicle travelling in the same direction on a straight stretch of road between Micheldever and Bullington on the A303.
Appearing in court in Basingstoke last week, he was fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85, and was given four points on his licence.
