FORMER Fun House star Pat Sharp will visit Andover this weekend for the official opening of a revamped nightclub.

The host of the popular 90's children's TV show will be guest of honor at the opening of Cameo and Vinyl on Friday night, following a £250,000 redevelopment of the club - formally known as Life.

The project will result in the club being split into two dance floors with one room playing chart and dance music and the other playing a more retro sound.

The opening night will be followed up by a special Saturday event with a guest DJ set from Kiss FM breakfast star Charlie Hedges.

Speaking about the re-opening on the club's Facebook page, the club's owners said: "After 11 years and 9 months, one million three hundred and fifty eight thousand four hundred and fifty seven customers, the best most stunning staff and some hangovers from hell we say thanks Life, it's been an amazing journey.

"We'll see you all on the Cameo side from Friday 10 July - Love Life x ‪#‎EndOfAnEra‬."
