ANDOVER Police has revealed the range of incidents it had to respond to on Friday night.

In a single shift officers dealt with a fight between two men followed by a neighbourly dispute.

The force investigated reports of antisocial behaviour in town and in Cricketers Way, and spent time “looking for sus activity at an allotment”.

They also had to push a car off the Asda roundabout and deal with a fight in Chantry Way.

The Advertiser revealed yesterday that police were called to a 'large fight' in Andover town centre in which a man suffered a head injury.

Officers were called shortly after 9.35pm following reports that a group of people were assaulting a man.

The 25-year-old victim suffered a cut to his head.

A teenage boy, aged 17, was arrested but later released with no further action.

The force tweeted: "Units looking for sus activity at an allotment redirected to reports of large fight in town."
