A YOUTUBE video of a Hampshire man winding up his pregnant wife has received thousands of hits after it was uploaded four days ago.

Mike Wilson has gained national media attention after posting the comedy video of him tormenting his pregnant wife Lou as she prepared for the birth of their son.

The footage shows Lou’s hilarious reaction to Mike as he wound her up and played tricks on her, including placing a bowl of water on the floor as she was squatting and cheekily asking her to make him a cup of tea.

Mike, who is a member of the world-famous 3RUN group, and who has been raising money for Naomi House Hospice following the death of his five-year-old son Jayden in December last year, posted on YouTube: “The last few months I somehow felt the need to irritate my pregnant wife.”

Man vs Pregnant Wife has already had over 180,000 hits in under a week.

But it has received mixed reactions from viewers.

Raquel Russell left a comment to say: “I would have killed you.”

Carl Whittaker added: “That is so funny, how did you get away with some of it?”

While The Freestylers Sports said: “This has made my day. Amazing.”

Mike, whose son Kelan arrived on February 20, said: “Most pregnant women do not like to hear those words, ‘how you feeling?’ Fortunately our family have a good sense of humour, however I think I may have taken this a step too far on some situations.

"Guys, if you intend to try some of these techniques, please do so using caution.”
