WHAT links Father Christmas, a fire engine and a mince pie bake-off ?
Overton’s late night shopping event.
The annual street festival is back as villagers come together to welcome in the Christmas period.
Father Christmas will grace the village with his presence once again, arriving onboard his traditional fire engine to switch on the festive lights.
Clare Scheckter, wife of former Formula One star Jody, will also be on hand to judge the “Great Overton Bake-off”, where budding bakers will test their skills against the village’s finest mince piemakers.
Judging for the bake-off will kick-off at 4.30pm on Friday, November 28, with the other festivities, including the arrival of Father Christmas, due to start around 6pm.
For more information or to collect an entry form for the baking competition, visit Overton Fireplaces on London Road, or call 01256 770007.
