POLICE have revealed that a Mercedes Benz E Class, tattoo machines and spray tanning equipment were among the items stolen during a nighttime raid in Andover last week.

As previously reported by the Advertiser several commercial units were burgled overnight on Wednesday 8 October.

The thieves raided a number of businesses at Picket Piece Commercial Centre, also making off with cash, laptops and a laser tattoo removal machine in a haul worth thousands of pounds.

Now detectives have launched a plea for information to help trace the burglars, who remained at large when the Advertiser went to press last night.

The thieves gained entry to 18 units at the site between 8.15pm on Wednesday, October 8 and 6.30am on Thursday, October 9 before making their getaway.

CCTV footage from the site showed a group of men at the scene in a white van, believed to be either a Citroen or a Renault.

The brazen burglars entered each premises through the main entrance after cutting locks and battering down several doors.

Police confirmed this week that no arrests have yet been made, but officers are stepping up their hunt for the culprits.

Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of these stolen items or anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time should contact DC Sian Newland at Basingstoke police station by calling 101.
